CSA Pick-Up Locations

Your share of the Artisan Organics Community Supported Agriculture (CSA) harvest will be delivered to one of two sites in Portland. Please see Pick-up Sites for specific information regarding the locations, dates and times of our deliveries. When you complete your Registration form, please indicate which location is the most convenient for you.

Each CSA Pick-Up location is BYOB…Bring Your Own BAG!

The site will be organized much like a booth at a Farmers Market. You will find bins of vegetables arrayed on a table. Each bin will have a sign indicating the quantity of that item you are to choose. For example, the sign may indicate you are two take two heads of lettuce, three ears of corn, or a bunch of arugula.

The last bin on the table is the Exchange Bin. If there is a vegetable in your share that you just can’t convince your household to eat, place it in the Exchange Bin. Often you’ll find that your least favorites are some one else’s “must haves.” You are welcome to take anything you like from the Exchange Bin.

As you load your bags, you’ll have the opportunity to visit with your farmer and the other members of the Artisan Organics community. This is a great time to swap recipes and tips for freezing your excess produce.

Note: If your vegetables will be left sitting in a hot vehicle you may wish to bring a cooler and a re-usable ice pack. Consider leaving the cooler in your car all summer so that you don’t forget it!
